Milling, paving set for Clifton Park's busy Maxwell Road

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Road work is set to start on Maxwell Road in Clifton Park on August 27 and 28, weather permitting. Milling and paving will be taking place on that stretch of busy road.

Maxwell Road spans from Route 146 to Plank Road in the Exit 9 commerce area. During construction, the road will remain open with flaggers managing traffic.

Delays and temporary closures may happen during the road work, said the Clifton Park Highway Superintendent. Drivers in the area should use caution and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.
