Standup comedian coming to Valeo fundraiser event
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Aimee Copp-Hasty with Valeo Behavioral Health joined the 27 News Morning Show to discuss an upcoming fundraiser event.
Valeo Behavioral Health will be hosting 'Unmasking Stigma', an event focused on mental health, on from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Townsite Towers at 534 South Kansas Ave. Copp-Hasty said a mental health comedian will be there. She said the comedian works to train other stand-up comics to help people suffering from mental health issues.
Copp-Hasty said fundraisers like this help Valeo fund projects like their shower trailer for the homeless.
