The insider told People that the A-list couple was “really going to give it a try.”
“And they did,” they continued. “These are two people who are in love with love, and who wouldn’t jump into that? And the world wanted it.”
They added that Jennifer and Ben “really loved each other — and it happened quickly.”
As for why, the source implied that it had to do with them being “very different people.”
“She’s super public and wants to go out, and he’s more of an introvert and is happy to hang out at home,” they explained.
Jennifer and Ben previously revealed why they split up in 2003, days before they were supposed to make it down the aisle.
