17,000 AT&T workers in Southeast strike over contract negotiations

MONTGOMERY, Alabama: More than 17,000 AT&T workers across nine Southeastern states have gone on strike, accusing the company of unfair labor practices during ongoing contract negotiations.

The strike, organized by the Communications Workers of America (CWA), began after the union accused AT&T of failing to negotiate in good faith.
