Railroad work caused wildfire that burned 15 structures in Arizona
PHOENIX, Arizona: Investigators revealed that sparks from railroad work caused a wildfire that destroyed 15 structures near the Arizona town of Wickenburg two months ago and cost nearly US$1 million to suppress.
The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management concluded that the Rose Fire ignited from sparks produced by a welder, grinder, or torch to cut a section of railroad track along the BNSF rail line
