Canadian rail networks have shut down after union talks reach a deadlock

Nearly 10,000 workers have been locked out.

Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Kansas City have locked out workers, starting Thursday, after unsuccessful negotiations attempts with a major labor union.
