Multiple Tube lines hit with delays and closures – London travel latest

A number of Tube lines have been hit with delays and suspensions, turning simple journeys in London into a nightmare.

The Bakerloo line is severely delayed as engineers repair a signal failure, while there’s a reduced service on the DLR.

Riders for the light metro service are being urged to factor in some extra time for their journey until Sunday.

Parts of the Piccadilly Line remain closed until Sunday, September 1 – which has been causing much trouble for commuters between Wood Green and Cockfosters, and Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.

The M25, the freeway which encircles London, has also been hit by disruption.
