The crafty pair, who moved into their first-ever home earlier this summer, in June, have been spending the last few months making it more cosy and welcoming.

As well as buying bits and bobs to zhuzh up the space, the 25-year-old pair have also made the dull stairway look totally new, adding some character to it on a budget.

Before the stunning transformation, the area looked boring, featuring white walls, a basic grey carpet and white wooden banisters along the way.

But with a little bit of craft – as well as the help of Will’s dad – the young duo transformed it by panelling.

Huge in popularity, wall panels provide a decorative accent to your home – and they’re relatively easy and cheap to install as well.

Not only can panelling be a good way to add texture, depth, and interest, it can also be used for functionality, such as adding an additional layer of insulation to a room.

What’s more, the experts at National Plastics said, wall panelling can also help you to keep your home warm and even reduce heating bills

Fellow DIY lovers can find this feature at most home goods stores or order them via Amazon and other retailers – however, Jordan and Will purchased theirs from B&Q.

With prices starting from as little as £15, the popular store indeed offers a huge variety of affordable wall panelling kits that are also a breeze to install – even if you’re a DIY newbie.

Before going in with panels, the couple – who had been saving money for their home for six years – decided what colour they’d paint the dull white walls.

Once they had settled for the pick – a gorgeous light beige shade for the ultimate neutral aesthetic – it was time to attach the panels.

Replying to a viewer, Jordan confessed that they needed help with this.

”My bf’s dad did it and there was lots of intricate parts and cutting required but he got there in the end,” she said in the video.

With the wooden panels attached to the wall, the young pair went in with the paint, using a total of two layers to achieve the end finish.

”We got our carpets changed from grey to cream and both the colours match perfectly together – I am so happy with the result.

”We have to do a few touch-ups here and there from where we have been lifting things up and down the stairs whilst renovating.
