Andrew & Tristan Tate are DETAINED in Romania after cop raid of compound over ‘sex with minor & trafficking’ allegations

Once the 24 hours is up, prosecutors from DIICOT – Romania’s organised crime busters – will urge a judge to sign off on a preventative arrest.
That would mean the Andrew and Tristan will stay in prison for 30 days – and they could remain behind bars if the courts reject any bid for freedom as investigations continue.
The Tate brothers have long denied any wrongdoing over the ongoing investigations in Romania.
The disgraced brothers, Andrew and Tristan, were first arrested in 2022 and charged with human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women.
Prosecutors from DIICOT are looking into several allegations against both Andrew, 37 and Tristan, 36.
They are said to include investigations into human trafficking, the trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor, influencing statements and money laundering.
Dramatic footage showed an elite unit of Romanian cops raid Tate’s home in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Cops from Romania’s DIICOT special forces struggled to gain entry with the building said to be highly fortified, so they turned their attention to the roof instead.
According to X page Tate News, the brothers installed “highly bulletproof doors” – but the cops came prepared.
Footage shows masked cops lurking outside the home.
They held a ladder up against the wall and officers climb up onto the roof of the first floor.
From there, they are able to walk up to a window from the second floor, finding a way to break into the building.
DIICOT said it was scouring four homes in Bucharest and nearby Ilfov county amid allegations of human trafficking, the trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor, influencing statements and money laundering.
Taking to X after the Raid, Tate wrote “The Matrix is real” – a reference to what he believes is an organised conspiracy against him.
He said: “Slander is their number one tool and the process is the punishment.”
Meanwhile, A DIICOT statement said: “The prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organised Crime and Terrorism – Central Structure together with police officers from the Ilfov Organised Crime Service have implemented four home search warrants within the Ilfov county and the Bucharest municipality.”
