Two more streets in north of Nicosia’s old town to be pedestrianised

Two more streets in the north of Nicosia’s old town are to be pedestrianised, the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) announced on Wednesday.

The LTB announced it had put out a tender for the pedestrianisation of Kyrenia Street and Iplik Pazari Street, with Kyrenia Street to be pedestrianised from the Is Bank junction southwards, and Iplik Pazari Street to be pedestrianised in its entirety.

The tender’s estimated value has been set at just shy of 5.5 million TL (€145,661), with the tender open until September 12.
