Love Island couple have ‘secretly split’ say fans amid ‘textbook showmance’ claims
LOVE Island fans have become convinced Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint have secretly split – accusing the pair of a ‘showmance’.
The couple got together during this year’s series of the ITV2 favourite, and after multiple love triangles were dumped from the villa in a public vote.
Since then, the couple have remained an item – but amid a string of blazing rows where they have been on and off again.
On Saturday, The Sun revealed how the couple broke things off after an argument, only to get back together hours later.
In a show of unity they shared a video of themselves together out for a walk on Sunday.
Fans on Reddit have since shared their theories that they may not be together after all after a series of clues – and believe they’re putting on a “showmance” for their followers.
One user wrote: “All their moves are textbook showmance.”
“Sorry but I never have and never will believe them,” said a second, while a third wrote: “All for show.”
The are they/aren’t they? mystery has been rumbling since the pair left the villa.
Just days after their return to the UK, Ronnie was accused of cheating on Harriett after being spotted with a stunning teacher, 21, in Milton Keynes at city hotspot Blossom Room.
At the time, our source told us: “Ronnie was in very high spirits and spent the night buying one girl champagne before they were seen leaving together.”
However, they ignored the claims and Ronnie later defiantly shared a snap of them together at the finale with the caption “winning in our eyes”.
Last week, more fans suggested the pair were set to “pop up on All Stars” as singletons.
This was due to the fact that, despite being together for a month, they are yet to make each other officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
Speaking about their relationship to his pal Olivia Attwood at the end of July, Ronnie hinted that the pair were not exclusive.
He said: “She’s a good girl man, obviously it was a mad rollercoaster in there with her, but it put us in good stead.
“Since we’ve been out we’re still together, I don’t know how to say it because obviously you’re coupled up in there, so everyone thinks you’re in a couple, obviously we’re not, but we are with each other.”
“I’d say we’re seeing each other, I’m not boyfriend and girlfriend but we are seeing each other and we’ve been out on dates since the villa,” he added.
