Remove duties on essential commodities to tackle rising prices — FABAG urges govt

The Food and Beverages Association of Ghana (FABAG) has called on the government to remove import duties on essential commodities amid the country rsquo;s rising food insecurity in the country. This call comes as neighboring Nigeria recently implemented a duty-free policy on key food items as part of efforts to curb inflation and improve access.
