Americana restaurant in Tannersville closing for good
TANNERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Nat's Mountain House, located at 6589 Route 23A in Tannersville, is closing its doors. The restaurant made the announcement on the Nat's Mountain House Instagram page on August 14.
"It’s with a very heavy heart that we must announce the end of Nat’s Mountain House," said the restaurant. "After thoughtful reflection, we’ve decided to hang up our hat and bring this chapter to a close."
This was owner Natalie Freihon's first venture outside New York City, as she also owns Nat’s on Bank and The Orchard Townhouse. Her other restaurant, Nat's on Bleeker, closed about a year ago.
Nat's Mountain House first opened in June 2023 serving burrata, crab rangoon dip, salads, stuffed peppers, cheeseburgers, and more. The restaurant's last day is set for Labor Day on September 2.
A reason for the closure was not provided. Freihon or other Nat's Mountain House staff did not immediately return NEWS10's request for comment.
"We want to extend our deepest thanks to each and every one of you who walked through our doors, supported us online, and became a part of our community," read the closure post. "Your loyalty and love have meant the world to us."
