Love Island stars spark feud rumours as couples skip date night with other finalists
THREE Love Island couples sparked feud rumours last night after skipping a reunion with fellow co-stars.
Finalists Matilda Draper and Sean Stone, Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel, and Uma Jammeh and Wil Anderson met up for a boozy meal and shared snaps on social media.
The lads hugged for a photo and Nicole filmed their antics as they bundled into a taxi at the end of the evening.
But three couples from this year’s show were noticeably missing from the group.
Joey Essex and Jessy Potts and series winners Mimii Ngulube and Joshua Oyinsan swerved the night out, perhaps still recovering from the drama in the villa.
Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer were also absent though Jess had secured tickets to see Taylor Swift’s final night of her Eras tour in London.
According to social media, Joey, 33, headed to his favourite restaurant Sheesh while Jessy was seen catching up with friends.
It comes after Josh and Mimii sparked rumours there may be trouble between the two.
Josh raised eyebrows as he kept close to a mystery girl while at a festival with friends with Mimii nowhere to be seen.
She then appeared to take a swipe at her boyfriend in a video on social media.
Mimii looked incredible as she showed off a daring denim outfit in a sexy new Instagram video.
The clip was accompanied by a viral audio of singer Rihanna taking a dig at her rivals with Mimii appearing to have carefully selected the clip in order to make a point to Josh.
It said: “She can beat me but she cannot beat my outfit.”
Mimii then struck a variety of poses in the very daring clip which was set to the Drake and Future song Way 2 Sexy.
Last month Josh and Mimii scooped the £50K prize pot after they were voted the villa champs.
Their surprise win shocked Love Island fans who suspected the duo were “on the brink of a split”.
Viewers told how they thought the body language between Mimii and Josh was “giving break up” vibes and questioned their “genuine connection”.
Yet footballer Paul Pogba‘s body double Josh insisted they were the real deal.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, he said: “We were never thinking about winning – winning was never in the plan.
“My main focus was trying to make my situation with Mimii good.”
