Who is Lauren Laverne’s husband Graeme Fisher?
Lauren Laverne is married to television producer and DJ Graeme Fisher.
Speaking about their relationship to Red Magazine, the broadcaster revealed the secret to their 20-year relationship.
She told the publication: “I think we’re really lucky and I’m really glad we’re happy and we still get on well.
“But I’m not going to sit here and spout kernels of wisdom, because there might be people reading this going through a divorce thinking, ‘Lauren, shut up.’
“We’ve been together a long time and we get on great, but that’s not necessarily the goal for everyone.”
In August 2024, Lauren revealed she has cancer, although she didn’t reveal what type she has.
When did Graeme Fisher marry Lauren Laverne?
The happy couple wed back in August 2005 in her native County Durham.
Before meeting and marrying Graeme, Lauren dated music journalist Taylor Parkes while in the band Kenickie.
She was also in a relationship with Malcolm Middleton, from the band Arab Strap.
How many children do Graeme Fisher and Lauren Laverne have?
The pair live together in Muswell Hill, London, and raise two children together.
Their first son, Fergus James Fisher, arrived in 2007 while their second son, Mach Fisher, was born in 2010.
Talking to The Guardian, Lauren said that Graeme left his job to be the primary carer of their children.
She said: “My husband has gone from the job he was doing making TV programmes to being the main carer for our boys.
“He has a fantastic relationship with them, we both muck in, and to be honest, it’s all a bit of a scramble.”
Lauren also once revealed how her husband is the culinary mastermind in the family.
She has said: “My husband cooks. I’m learning, but slowly.”

Lauren Laverne's cancer statement
On August 21, 2024, Lauren revealed she has cancer.
The broadcaster made the brave announcement in an Instagram post from her hospital bed.
The host explained she had been diagnosed with the disease but it was caught early.
Lauren did not reveal what type of cancer she is continuing to battle, but said it was spotted during a screening test.
She said: “I recently had a cancer diagnosis. It was (thank God) caught early and unexpectedly during a screening test and I am expected to make a full recovery.
“I’m in hospital at the moment and wanted to take this moment to say thank you: firstly to medical teams who have got me this far with incredible skill and kindness.
“To my family and friends who have been absolutely extraordinary every step of the way – I am so very grateful and love you so much.
“And of course thank you to my colleagues…. for their support and for giving me the time off that I need to get better.”
