Priyansh Arya Shines as South Delhi Superstarz Secure Six-Wicket Win Over Central Delhi Kings

In the Delhi Premier League, Priyansh Arya’s explosive 82 off 51 balls helped South Delhi Superstarz defeat Central Delhi Kings by six wickets.

After being summoned to bat on Tuesday, Central Delhi Kings were led to 176/7 by fifty runs from Dhruv Kaushik (56), and Yash Dhull (52).

But with five balls remaining, South Delhi Superstarz managed to reach the goal thanks to a strong 101-run partnership between Arya and Ayush Badoni (42).

Following Sarthak Ray’s early dismissal (0 off 1) in the opening over, Badoni and Arya batted calmly as they took on the run chase.

They steadily scored more than 10 runs per over after bringing the score to 45/1 at the conclusion of the powerplay.

While Badoni made a crucial 42 off 36 balls before being caught at mid-wicket and missing out on his half-century, Arya reached his fifty in 32 balls.

Due to Arya and Tejaswi Dahiya’s fluid stroke play, SDS had taken the lead by the strategic timeout.

After hitting seven sixes and three fours, Arya was out of the game in the 17th over. In the subsequent over, Tejaswi came next, scoring 22 off of 14.

The South Delhi Superstarz required just 17 runs from 16 deliveries, so they were still in a strong position despite these early wickets.

In the 19th over, Vision Panchal and Dhruv Singh added two sixes and a four to complete the triumph, which became the South Delhi Superstarz’s second straight tournament victory.

Hiten Dalal (10 off 9) was dismissed cheaply by Divij Mehra in the third over of the match earlier. But captain Yash Dhull led from the front, keeping Dhruv Kaushik and the scoreboard ticking over as they put up a strong 91 runs off of 65 balls.

Kaushik scored 56 off 33 balls before being removed in the next over.
