Albany PD make arrest in connection to July shooting
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Cohoes man is facing charges after a shooting in the city of Albany. The shooting took place around 4:45 p.m. on July 20 in the area of Madison Avenue and Trinity Place.
Police said a 27-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his buttocks in the incident. He was treated at Albany Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Police arrested Ikara Leake, 24, and he was charged with one count of reckless endangerment in the first degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning.
