'It Ends With Us' Sequel Update: Insiders Share New Details Amid Behind-the-Scenes Drama
It seems likely that the movie It Ends With Us is getting a sequel as the movie is already a smash hit and a sequel book is already out now, but there could be some hiccups.
As you likely already know, there are rumors of drama behind-the-scenes with an alleged feud between Blake Lively and co-star/director Justin Baldoni.
When asked about possibly directing the sequel, Justin said, “I think there are better people for that one. I think Blake Lively is ready to direct. That’s what I think.”

TheWrap reports that Justin and his company Wayfarer Studios hold the option for the “It Starts With Us” film rights and that he will definitely be involved in some capacity if the sequel gets made, even if he doesn’t return as Ryle.
Despite the success of the first movie, an insider told the outlet that “no additional conversations have been had at this time regarding the sequel.”
After just 11 days in theaters, It Ends With Us has already grossed $182 million worldwide. It seems inevitable that Sony Pictures will be greenlighting the next movie.
