Gamethread: White Sox at Giants
Late night! Game time!
It’s the second game in San Francisco, and another late one. Perhaps not worth staying up for all nine innings, but if you stick around with us, thank you.
It’s Davis Martin Night! OK that was some real false energy there, but there’s no denying last week’s Player of the Week has been something special since completing his comeback to the majors post-TJS.

Grady Sizemore has shown great confidence in Dominic Fletcher, which has been rewarded on both sides of the ball. He’s also shown great faith in Lenyn Sosa, who has not rewarded his manager, at all. For those who have clamored for Lenyn to get a fair shake in the majors, this is it. If he can’t convert some of these opportunities the remainder of the season, it will be a foregone conclusion that the White Sox move on heading into 2025.
Over on the Giants side, here’s how they’re lining up:
It's Filipino Heritage Night at Oracle Park

I can’t believe I am covering Filipino Heritage Night instead of Hamster, but hey girl, them’s the breaks. She gets Harry Potter, I get halo-halo and lumpia. Ah well.
Game time is, basically, now, 8:45 p.m. CT and on the usual stations.
