Court officials said on Wednesday, Jan. 10, Swonyoung was hit by a 2021 Subaru operated by Lacy Maxwell, who did not stop to help as Swonyoung and a friend were walking on Route 9W at 5:10 p.m. Both Maxwells staged an accident the following day, accounting for the damage and submitting an insurance claim.
