Notley On Preparing For Dundee United
Midfielder Ellis Notley spoke to the media ahead of our clash with Dundee United tomorrow night. Read the thoughts of our vice-captain below!
Notley made her first start of the season in our impressive 7-0 victory over Aberdeen on Sunday and looks forward to testing herself against another league opponent.
“We expect them to make it difficult for us and give us a good game. We need to go out and enforce our game plan, be patient with the ball and take our chances when they come.
“We played them in pre-season not too long ago, but we expect a different team. They’ve got something to play for.
"Every game is a different threat and opposition. We need to look at who we are playing and prepare well. And focus on us."
Despite the short turnaround and likely rotation in the starting line-up, Notley is confident the squad will be able to secure another positive result.
“It allows Grant, Stewart and Joelle to get players onto the pitch that haven’t had many minutes in the last two games.
"Whatever team that is put out will manage and we are all looking forward to it.”
Looking forward to the game, Notley is happy to contribute in any capacity on the park when called upon by the management team.
“I just want to play and help the team as much as I can, to pick up and secure wins.
"If I’m needed, I’ll always be ready.”
