Marin weather forecast: Rain possible for weekend
Marin County could be in line for a bit of rain this week, the National Weather Service said Tuesday.
“A cold front in August will bring a chance for showers to the region, primarily the North Bay, on Thursday
and Friday,” the agency said. “While rainfall totals are not expected to exceed a tenth of an inch, this would be an unusually large amount of rainfall for this time of year.”
In the eastern part of Marin, the agency’s forecast includes a 30% chance of showers on Friday and possible showers on Saturday. High temperatures are expected to reach the mid-70s.
Point Reyes Station and other coastal spots have a 40% chance of showers on Friday and possible showers on Saturday. High temperatures are expected to reach the low 60s.
Sunny and warmer weather is in the forecast for Sunday.
