A street party in the capital

Street parties are synonymous with the summer season and there has been a fair share of them this year. As soon as September arrives, and the crowds return to Nicosia, a street party will take place to beat any back-to-work blues. Organised by Scarabeo, the party will kick off at Ithaki Bar opposite Famagusta Gate at 7pm on September 8.

While the party is outdoors, Dr Cordoba will be on the DJ decks blasting uplifting party anthems and tunes as the bar serves cold beers, a selection of drinks and a choice of finger food. After 11pm, the party will move indoors and keep going until late.

Once inside Ithaki bar, DJ Mr Cause will take over the DJ booth continuing the party vibes. Throughout the night, Serial Griller will serve sizzling, juicy burgers and more to keep party-goers satisfied. Anticipated to be “the sickest street party on the island”, the organisers invite Nicosians to “come and celebrate life in style as Scarabeo presents a street party like no other.”

Best of all, the event is free to attend. What a September welcome in the city.
