The UK edition of the hit Netflix show has seen many people binging it in a bid to find out what happens next.
But after new episodes dropped, a few fans aren’t convinced about three stars of the show, and they’ve coined them ‘producer plants.’
Taking to Reddit, one Love Is Blind said they believe Sam, Nicole and Benaiah are all producer plants.
All three of these Love Is Blind stars have been involved in a love triangle, which began in the pods as Nicole fell for both Sam and Benaiah before picking Sam.
She then changed her mind after meeting Sam, and ended up with Benaiah, but the romance hasn’t been without its dose of drama so far, with Sam not quite exiting the love triangle.
Sharing their thoughts about it one, someone wrote : “I know this is going to sounds nuts but I truly believe that this set of 3 people are all plants in the show, I know I’m reaching and it’s most likely not true. The whole situation is a bit hard to wrap my mind around. But here are my reasons.”
They then listed their reasons, beginning: “Sam is clearly there for fame, it’s just convenient that Benaiah happened to be there at the right moment to hear Sam make the comment… like literally in ear shot.
“Nicole is petite… not sure how she slipped up and something to him about her appearance which really made no sense by saying Sam wouldn’t be able to hold her.
“Sam has said on multiple occasions “I think I love you” he must’ve known that this would get a rise out of the audience.
“The suspense scene when we didn’t know which room Nicole would go in first just didn’t feel organic.”
Some Reddit users were in agreement with the comment made.
But another pointed out: “The plant theory carries till the families get involved,” referring to the part where the engaged couples will introduce their other halves to their nearest and dearest.
But it’s not the first time fans have coined Sam a ‘producer plant.’
During the first few instalments of Love Is Blind, the trio got themselves into a love triangle.
Sam and Nicole ,who got engaged on the show, dramatically quit just hours later.
Their initial meeting after getting engaged in the pods has now been coined as the ‘most awkward TV moment ever.’
And Love Is Blind viewers called Sam a “producer plant” as a result.
On TikTok, one person said: “I do think Sam is a producer plant. I think he has been placed in there by producers to get us annoyed and get us riled up.
“Do I believe that he’s like this IRL, probably, but I do think he has been placed there to get us talking and it has worked.”
Others on social media were in agreement and, over on X, one commented: “As for that Sam guy? It’s giving plant. He literally said “the wife of my kids?!?” Smh.”
The reality star was brutally called out by his love rival Benaiah after a “fat-shaming” comment.
After proposing to Nicole without seeing her, Sam started to overthink a comment she made about being picked up.
Confiding in his male co-stars, Sam said: “She said one weird thing though, it was so weird.
“I said, I can’t wait to run down and pick you up to kiss and cuddle you’.
“Nicole then freaked out and said ‘well you might not be able to…’
“I was like, ‘what?’ Was she implying something?”
Sam added: “I like meat. It’s fine if somebody’s a bit like…”, before breaking off.
“It’s just a weird thing to say.”
Overhearing his remark, love rival Benaiah chooses to warn Nicole about Sam’s actions.
He tells her in the pod: “I don’t think Sam is here for genuine reasons.”
But Sam and Nicole weren’t to last anyway, and Nicole soon realised she’d made a mistake after seeing a “sign” during Sam’s proposal.
She explained: “When I took the ring, I placed it on the wrong finger, on the right finger.
“He didn’t notice. Now I look back in hindsight that was a sign that it just wasn’t right.”
Sam said: “The doors closed and it was bizarre. I started to realise that something was off, something wasn’t right.”
