MCDONALD’S fans have just days left to order its popular meal deal before it’s axed from menus for good.

It comes just weeks after the chain launched its fan-favourite Mix ‘N’ Match £3 deal across its UK and Ireland stores on July 31.

Fast-food fans have until August 28 to bag three items including a Cheeseburger, Apple Pie or Mayo Chicken for just £3, or £1 a dish.

There are eight items to choose from, with a whopping 100 possible food combinations.

Among the items on offer are:

  • Small fries – £1.19
  • Cheeseburger – £1.39
  • Hamburger – £1.19
  • Mayo Chicken – £1.39
  • 4 McNuggets (not available separately in this size)
  • Apple Pie – £1.69
  • Veggie Dippers (not available separately in this size)
  • Side salad – £1.09

The biggest saving you can make is by buying three Apple Pies which would cost £5.07 without the offer.

For a full meal you can make the biggest saving by ordering a Cheeseburger or Mayo Chicken, Small Fries and Apple Pie.

This would typically set you back £4.27, so you’ll save £1.27.

How much you save depends on the food you pick and your savings will also depend on your location as prices can vary by area.

But fan favourite the McFlurry is also missing from the offer, despite being included when the deal was last running.

Between May 22 and June 10 customers could opt for a miniature McFlurry as part of the offering.

Plus if you place an order for McDelivery using the McDonalds app then this deal will cost you £4 instead of £3.

Bear in mind that McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.

How to save money at McDonald's

YOU could end up being charged more for a McDonald’s meal based solely on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

Researching and comparing prices at your local McDonald’s branches could save you some cash on your order.

But you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald’s receipt.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

Signing up to the My McDonald’s app also means that you can keep on top of the latest deals and offers.

Remember to log your date of birth in the app – otherwise, you could miss out on free food or drinks.

Make sure you check out all the various apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home too.

After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.

McDonald’s fans who cannot get their hands on the deal before it disappears are still in for a treat this September as the chain is set to launch a never seen before item.

A Twix Latte featuring a Twix flavour syrup, topped with caramel cream and crumbs of the chocolate bar on top will be available next month.

A medium sized cup of the chocolate drink will set you back £2.69 while a large cup will cost £3.29.

The Twix Latte will only be in McDonald’s stores for six weeks from September 4 onwards.

Five other fast-food favourites are also returning to the menu, including Mozzarella Dippers and the Philly Cheese Stack.

Other popular treats set to return include the Twix Chocolate McFlurry, Chicken Big Mac and Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry.

The menu items set to return, with prices based on last year’s menu, include:

  • Philly Cheese Stack – £6.99 for a medium meal
  • Chicken Big Mac -£6.99 for a medium meal
  • Mozzarella Dippers -£2.29
  • Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry -£1.69
  • Twix Caramel McFlurry £1.69
