Ferne McCann reignites bitter feud with Gemma Collins in hilarious caption for 34th birthday
FERNE McCann has reignited her bitted feud with Gemma Collins – eight years after their infamous row.
The reality TV star shared a glam photo as she celebrated her 34th birthday with her friends and family.
Ferne then took a cheeky swipe at her former Towie star co-star, as she made a reference to their furious exchange in 2016, “when Gemma, then 34, told Ferne she had “earned her divaship”.
Wearing a pink mini dress with floral detail, Ferne wrote on Instagram on Mnday : “I’m 34…have I finally earned my divaship?”
She added: “A brilliant, scrummy, beautiful weekend for my final birthday celebrations.
“Definitely did rinse the celebrations but you’re only 34 once right?”
Ferne’s row with Gemmais one of the most memorable moments in TOWIE history, with the GC infamously declaring: “I’ve earnt my divaship.”
Following a silly argument over transport arrangements, the two clashed at Billie Faiers house during a girls’ night in.
Gemma told Ferne: “You told me I needed a gastric band. And you know you did,” to which a stunned Ferne responds: “Are you actually, actually saying that?”
Gemma claimed she was telling the truth and Ferne hit back: “That is a complete and utter lie. How dare you say that? That’s a cheap f***** stunt Gem.”
Gemma went on : “In the cab the other night, you’d obviously had a drink.
“You tossed your food out the window, like a diva. Bizarre behaviour.”
Ferne added: “You’ve never been a diva in your life before? OK.”
Gemma fired back: “I can, I’m Gemma Collins, Ferne. I’m 34, I’ve earned my divaship.”
After both ladies refused to apologise for their part in the fight, Gemma told Ferne no one liked her.
The pair later made up and in 2020, Ferne insisted they’re friends.
“Our fights were a very long time ago,” she told the Daily Star.
“I actually wrote to her in lockdown and said her house, which she lives in with her brother, was gorgeous.
“She was like ‘babe, you have to come round when we are properly out of lockdown’.”
Earlier this year, Ferne shared a hilarious video on TikTok of her dying her hair pink.
Ferne quipped: “I’ve got 7 months until I’ve earnt mine #towie #diva #divaship,” followed by a laughing emoji.
