Kingston man pleads guilty to sexual abuse
KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to the Ulster County District Attorney's Office, Carlos Fernando Pinola Pop, 41, of Kingston, pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual abuse on Thursday. Pinola Pop faces up to seven years in prison.
Pinola Pop's guilty plea means he admitted to subjecting a child under eight years old to sexual abuse on September 25. Sentencing is scheduled for October 10. In addition to prison time, Pinola Pop may have to register as a sex offender for this conviction.
