Report: Premier League club tell Spurs and Arsenal that 22-year-old is not for sale
HITC report that Tottenham’s attempts to make advances towards Simon Adingra have been knocked back by Brighton.
Tottenham like Simon Adingra
Adingra arrived at the Amex Stadium from Belgian side Union SG last year and the winger had an impressive debut season in England, scoring seven times and registering three assists (Transfermarkt).
The 22-year-old has also started the new campaign in ideal fashion, finding the back of the net in the Premier League season opener against Everton as the Seagulls emerged with a 3-0 win from Goodison Park on Saturday.
HITC claim that the Ivory Coast international’s displays in the South Coast have attracted the attention of some big hitters.
Tottenham and Arsenal told Adingra is not for sale
It is explained that both Spurs and Arsenal reached out to Brighton this summer to enquire about the conditions of a deal to sign Adingra.
However, Fabian Hurzeler’s men have allegedly made it clear to the two North London giants that the winger is not for sale as they see him as a key part of their plans.
Tottenham ended up signing Wilson Odobert from Burnley to reinforce their winger ranks this summer.

Tottenham may have made this enquiry before they pushed ahead with a move for Wilson Odobert.
Following the Frenchman’s arrival, the Lilywhites are likely done adding to their attack this summer.
