6 stunning supermoon photos of the blue moon in August 2024

We’ve seen some absolutely stunning images of moons in recent years, like June’s Strawberry moon that we saw earlier this year in 2024.

Now? It’s time to look at what’s called a blue moon, one that’s a supermoon that popped up Monday night all over the world. The blue moon isn’t actually blue, but it’s the nickname for the third full moon in a season, and it was a supermoon because the moon was close to Earth. Got all that?
