Town of Guilderland receives $375k in grants

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The town of Guilderland has received $375,000 in capital grant funding for parks and highway equipment. $250,000 will go towards upgrades at DiCaprio Park and Fort Hunter Park and $125,000 will go toward the Town Highway Department to purchase equipment.

Playground equipment will be purchased for the parks as well as basketball courts, sports fields, and parking lot improvements. The Town Highway Department will purchase a mini-excavator and other equipment.
