BSF man makes history as first CAPF officer to complete Ironman triathlon
Assistant Commandant Harish Kajla, a 35-year-old BSF officer currently on deputation with the National Security Guard (NSG), has made history by becoming the first Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) officer to complete the Ironman challenge, one of the world's most grueling triathlon events. Held in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kajla finished the challenge—which includes 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and a 42.2 km marathon—in an impressive time of 12:42:25, well within the 15:45:00 cut-off for his age group. His achievement brings great honor to the BSF and India.
