Ex-Bangladesh PM Khaleda Zia's bank accounts to be unfrozen after 17 years
The Bangladesh National Board of Revenue have decided to unfreeze the bank accounts of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia after 17 years. Her accounts were initially frozen in 2007 under a caretaker government. The move comes after a mass uprising that led to the ousting of Sheikh Hasina and the formation of an interim government by Muhammad Yunus.
