OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A man who was shot and killed Saturday night in southwest Oklahoma City after a disturbance at the College Park Townhomes has been identified.

It was a call to 911 that only added to a busy night for Oklahoma City police.

The College Park Townhomes sat quietly Monday morning near SW 74th Street and May Avenue just a couple of days removed from a deadly shooting Saturday night.

"I was sleeping and the next thing I know, there's, like, a few rounds going off,” resident Tamberly Baker said. “So, I got up, and all of a sudden, there was a million cops here."

Baker said the situation unfolded right behind her home.

"It used to really be nice around here,” Baker said. “I don't know what's happened."

Oklahoma City police said that it was a disturbance that led to the gunfire.

"When they arrived, one victim was found shot,” Sgt. Dillon Quirk said on scene Saturday night.

The victim was identified as 31-year-old Emmanuel Williams. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

"It's unclear right now what exactly happened,” Quirk said.

As of Monday, there have been no arrests. The shooting call was part of a busy night for the Oklahoma City Police Department on the southwest side. They also responded to what turned into an hours long standoff just north of there near SW 66th Street and Miller Avenue.

"It doesn't appear that that any of those instances are related to one another,” Quirk said.

Baker said she didn’t hear anything before the gunshots. However, this situation is one of a couple she’s experienced living in that area.

"We've wondered a couple of times, is a stray bullet going to come through our window,” she said.
