'Kill Bill' Actor Michael Madsen Arrested on Domestic Battery Charge, His Rep Speaks Out
Michael Madsen was arrested over the weekend.
At 1:15am on Saturday morning (August 17), the 66-year-old Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill actor was arrested on charges of battery stemming from an alleged “disagreement” with his wife DeAnna Madsen.
Keep reading to find out more…“On August 17, 2024, at approximately 12:15 AM, deputies responded to the 31600 block of Broad Beach Road in the City of Malibu regarding a family disturbance,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department shared in a press release with EW. “The informant stated that a female adult alleged her husband pushed her and locked her out of their residence.”
The statement continued, “Based on the initial investigation, deputies determined Michael Madsen was involved in a domestic incident involving his wife. Mr. Madsen was arrested for misdemeanor Spousal Battery (violation of 243(e)(1) P.C.). He was transported and booked at Malibu/Lost Hill Sheriff’s Station. The investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Van Nuys Superior Court House for filing.”
Michael‘s rep later shared a statement with Variety, announcing that the actor is no longer in custody after posting $20,000 bond.
“It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both,” his rep added.
Michael and DeAnna, 64, have been married since 1996.
This is now the fourth time Michael has been arrested. He was previously arrested in 2012, in 2019, and in 2022.
