Junior doctors in Bengal continue to protest over rape-murder of medic, health services hit

Healthcare services across West Bengal faced severe disruptions as junior doctors continued their 12-day strike over the alleged rape and murder of a colleague. Senior doctors attended patients at government hospitals. The CBI has taken over the investigation from Kolkata Police under Calcutta High Court orders.
