Human remains found in Brooklyn: NYPD
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Human remains were discovered in Brooklyn Monday morning, according to the NYPD.
The remains were found at 55 Water St., which is near the Brooklyn Bridge, by an officer patrolling the area around 8:50 a.m. Sources told PIX11 News the remains were a skull and bones found on the shore.
Citizen App video showed NYPD officers talking to people on the waterfront and tape cordoning off an area.
The NYPD hasn't confirmed if they've identified the remains.
