Euroairlines consolidates itself in the African market with an alliance with Tarco Aviation

The African airline Tarco Aviation has selected Euroairlines to manage the distribution of all its national and international routes after the signing of a collaboration agreement between both companies. Through this alliance, Tarco Aviation will have access to an extensive network of travel agencies, OTAs, aggregators and consolidators in more than 60 countries through Euroairlines’ IATA Q4-291 license plate.

Tarco Aviation currently operates flights to key destinations in East Africa, such as Uganda, Ethiopia, Egypt or South Sudan. It also offers different weekly routes from the town of Port Sudan to the main cities of the Persian Gulf such as Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Muscat or Kuwait.

The company was founded in Khartoum (Sudan) in 2009 with the aim of offering passengers different travel modalities that adapt to their needs. It has regular flights, charter service and aircraft rental to other companies. It is currently one of the most important airlines in Sudan.

Antonio López-Lázaro, CEO of Euroairlines, has assessed that the agreement will strengthen the significant growth that we have experienced in recent years. “We are very excited about this alliance, as it will allow us to join forces and expand our presence in the African market,” explained López-Lázaro.

Guillermo López-Lázaro, director of Markets and Channels at Euroairlines, has pointed out that thanks to this new alliance we will be able to offer new destinations. “The extensive connections that Tarco offers from Port Sudan allow us to expand our offer of destinations for our clients with the quality standards of Euroairlines,” added Guillermo López-Lázaro.

“We are very happy about this agreement. Tarco always considers travel agencies as successful partners and this alliance will help us reach more successful collaborations, especially in countries where we do not have direct sales points, and this will also allow more passengers to explore Sudanese hospitality on our flights,” stressed Saad Babiker Ahmed, CEO of Tarco Aviation.
