Kerry recently underwent surgery to correct her nose.

The star – who has been drug free for 14 years – is still recovering to this day – and it affected the way she spoke on the platform, which some fans picked up on.

Kerry wrote in her latest OK! magazine column: “Last week, I faced accusations of ‘slurring’ my words during a TikTok Live, with some suggesting I was drunk or on drugs.

“The truth is, I’m still on the mend from nose surgery recovery can take up to a year so my speech isn’t perfect.

“Plus, I was knackered that day and sometimes I’m just a lazy speaker it’s like my tongue takes a break.

“I wasn’t sloshed it was early morning and I was on a treadmill.

“It’s a pain when folks jump to the worst conclusions; I hardly drink and I’ve been clean for ages.

“But ultimately, I can’t change my speech or if it comes across as slurred it’s not on purpose.”

Kerry came under fire back in 2008 when This Morning viewers thought she was drunk live on air while talking to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

However she claimed it was because of the medication she was on for bipolar disorder at the time.

Kerry showed off her new nose on Good Morning Britain back in May.

Viewers were lost for words at host Richard Madeley inspected Kerry’s new nose on live TV.

Richard, 68, said he wanted to get a closer look and said: “Can I come over there and get a close look at your nose?”

“You just wanted to sit next to me!” she said.

Kerry, who was introduced to drugs by her mum when she was 14, revealed that a surgeon advised her to correct the hole in her nose.

She said: “It started with my second marriage, you lie down with dogs you get fleas.

“Cocaine was my friend, it was my crutch.

“I wasn’t taking it every day I was a binger.

“When I started I couldn’t stop, I could go a while without it.

“It became my best friend because everyone was using me.”

Kerry added: “Before I was famous, the first drug I took was with my mum.

“My mum wasn’t really a mum. She gave me speed telling me it was sherbet.”

She explained: “My mum wasn’t well, I can’t sit with regret, with hate.

“My mum is drug-free.

“For a very long time, I was a victim, why me? But I have to hold my hands up.

“I OD’d at one point and got up and took another line of cocaine straight away.”

Kerry is currently engaged to fiance Ryan Mahoney, 35.

The pair don’t share any children, but Kerry is mum to five kids.

She shares Molly-Marie, 22, and Lilly-Sue, 21, with Brian McFadden.

Kerry and ex Mark Croft are parents to Maxwell, 16, and Heidi, 17, and she shares Dylan-Jorge with the late George Kay, nine.
