Five times Olympic cyclist, 50, found dead in Las Vegas flat ‘after choking on food’
AN OLYMPIC athlete has tragically been found dead in her apartment after she reportedly choked on her food.
Daniela Larreal Chirinos, a Venezuelan track cyclist, was found at her Las Vegas home on Friday.

Concerned colleagues alerted authorities when the 50-year-old failed to show up to her job at the hotel she worked at.
The post-mortem reportedly found food in her windpipe, suggesting she died from choking.
The cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed by Las Vegas police.
Larreal raced in sprint disciplines of cycling, including Keirin, sprinting, and time trials.
She competed in five Olympic Games – Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and London 2012.
She didn’t medal at the Olympic Games, but won medals at South American games, Pan-American competitions, and Cycling World Cups.
