Barclays down LIVE: Hundreds of users report outage as bank says ‘sorry’

HUNDREDS of Barclays users are reporting a service outage this morning with customers unable to use the online banking service.

It comes after a planned maintenance project yesterday with more than 800 users still reporting issues this morning, according to Downdetector.

In a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, Barclays said it was “sorry” and was currently working on rectifying the issue.

One user posted on X: “I thought I had lost the plot this morning as I tried and tried without success to log onto our account this morning!!”
