Jennifer Lopez’s Child Emme Muniz Re-Wears Retro Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Kicks With Lopez in Los Angeles

Emme Muniz was spotted out shopping with their mother Jennifer Lopez yesterday in Los Angeles.

The young star sported a pair of retro-inspired Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 sneakers in a khaki and black colorway. The on-trend silhouette featured mixed textural suede and leather uppers that transitioned into tan lace-up closures, contrasting labeling on the tongue and converging black stripes on the sides that bring the silhouette into the 21st century.

Non-slip rubber soles finished off the set, offering the silhouette a practical utilitarian twist. Muniz wore the same style back in June while on a similar shopping trip with Lopez. The 16-year-old also sported ankle-length white socks with their sneaker’s laces tied around them.

The Japanese sports fashion brand was founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka. The brand later became Asics Corporation in 1977, hence the similar logo design. Beyond footwear, Onitsuka Tiger sells a variety of apparel and accessories for both men and women. The footwear and apparel brand has become exceedingly popular within the last few years, thanks in part to their Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 style in the “Kill Bill” yellow and black colorway.

Casual and cool, Muniz sported a plaid short-sleeved oversized button-down accompanied by denim jorts. Rounding out their look, Muniz wore a variety of playful jewelry.

For footwear, Muniz often opts for neutral shoes in black, white and dark red hues. When off-duty, the child of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony can be seen in flat-soled styles, including Dr. Martens boots, Converse and Vans sneakers. In the past, Muniz has worn flats in similar hues on the red carpet, as well as lace-up boots while performing onstage with Lopez. The young star is also one to watch in the future, making headlines earlier this year for their casual outfits while on Lopez and Affleck’s honeymoon in Paris.
