Meghan Markle Goes Vacation Mode in Emme Parsons Cecilia T-Strap Sandals in Colombia with Prince Harry
Meghan Markle embarked on her third day visiting Colombia yesterday accompanied by her husband Duke of Sussex Prince Harry. The royal couple were joined by Colombia’s Vice President Francia Márquez for a stop at San Basilio de Palenque, a village just outside Cartagena steeped in rich history.
Beating the Colombian heat, Markle stepped into a pair of black Emme Parsons Cecilia t-strap sandals. Crafted of black calfskin leather and priced at $450, the style encompassed the royal’s feet with thick intersecting straps that kept the shoe in place.
The t-strap gave the silhouette a thong-inspired look, a popular touch for many trendy sandal silhouettes on the market currently. Adjustable buckles sat at the ankles, giving Markle the option of a custom fit while short 0.5-inch block heels provided a subtle lift. The brand’s logo was fixed to the insoles. During her stay in Colombia thus far, Markle has been gravitating towards a variety of sandal styles, often featuring neutral colorways crafted out of sturdy leather.
Beyond keeping the Duchess cool, her sandal picks are casual but can lean dressy, especially when paired with other neutral pieces. From Jimmy Choo to Aquazzura, each of Markle’s sandal picks are formal but comfortable, mixing form with fashion seamlessly.
Giving vacation vibes, the “Dater’s Handbook” star donned a sleeveless knit tank from Argent in white, paired with a Posse maxi skirt in ivory featuring a breathable slit up the back. On the accessories front, Markle sported a Hannia Char boating hat in black and white along with gold Ray Band sunnies and gold jewelry and tropical-inspired dangling earrings.
One of Markle’s go-to shoe styles is pointed-toe pumps, which she wears in neutral and tonal hues from Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Aquazzura and more top labels. When off-duty, her streamlined, versatile style also incorporates Valentino flats, Nike sneakers and Hunter boots.
