Man, 20, charged with murder & sex offence after woman stabbed to death at home in Kent town
A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder and a sexual offence after a woman was stabbed to death.
Emergency services rushed to a property in Dartford, Kent, following reports of a disturbance shortly before 7am yesterday.
Police and paramedics attended the address on Henderson Drive where a woman was found with stab injuries.
Despite the best efforts of medical professionals she sadly died at the scene.
Cops have now confirmed Ernestas Juska, of Henderson Drive, has been charged with murder.
The young man was also charged with committing a sexual offence against a deceased female.
He remains in custody and will appear in Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday August 19.
Following the incident, Henderson Drive was taped off between the junctions with Marsh Street and Cavell Crescent while officers carried out their inquiries.
Forensics officers in protective clothing were also seen going in and out of the house, including more than 24 hours later this morning.
Juska, who was known to the victim, was arrested and taken into custody in connection with the incident later that same day.
Residents living nearby reported hearing the sirens of emergency vehicles throughout the morning, with an air ambulance car among those called to the scene.
