Albany man pleads guilty to receiving child sex abuse images
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man pleaded guilty to possessing child sex images. Taykwun Smoaks admitted that in February and March 2023 he downloaded more than 600 images and videos of children.
The 32-year old will be sentenced in December. He faces between five and up to 20 years in prison, a maximum fine of $250,000 and at least five years of probation.
He may be ordered to pay restitution to the victims of his offenses.
