Quiet start to the weekend

Temperatures this morning are in the low to mid 60s with clear skies across the area. Some patchy fog may develop again mainly in low lying areas that could reduce visibility at time. It should burn off fairly quickly as the sun continues to rise.

Humidity will start to back off throughout the weekend as dew points drop into the lower 60s. Highs this afternoon will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s although it should feel a little better with slightly less moisture in the air. Winds will be from the northeast at 5-10 MPH as we hold on to plenty of sunshine.

Heading into the remainder of the weekend, expect lots of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s by Sunday afternoon. A quiet weather pattern falls into place as a ridge of high pressure settles over the Midwest this weekend.

Early next week, we could see afternoon highs drop into the middle 80s for Monday and Tuesday!
