Isolated showers possible Sunday afternoon
What We’re Tracking
- Isolated showers this afternoon
- Few storms early Monday
- Cooler start to the week
A cloud bank is moving through this morning as temperatures start off in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Winds are light but will start to pick up speed throughout the afternoon.
We should stay dry for the first part of our Sunday. Isolated showers are expected to roll in from the northwest later this afternoon. This will keep our temperatures about 5 to 8 degrees cooler topping out in the low to mid 80s. Winds will pick up at 15-20 mph from the northwest.
A few showers and storms try to redevelop late tonight into early Monday morning. Most of the rain should be out by mid to late morning with a majority of tomorrow remaining dry and sunny.
A quiet weather pattern falls into place as a ridge of high pressure settles over the Midwest. We could see afternoon highs drop into the lower 80s for Monday and Tuesday! Temperatures do start to warm up by late week, eventually getting closer to average back into the lower 90s.
