Oklahoma City Police respond to homicide in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City Police are investigating a homicide that happened near SW 74th and S May Ave.

Authorities was alerted of a disturbance involving shots fired in the surrounding area.

One person with gunshot wounds was found on the scene and was transported to a local hospital.

The person succumbed to their wounds soon after.

OKCPD PIO confirmed a number of witnesses were detained on the scene.

The specifications of a suspect(s) is currently unknown.
