ISRO's SSLV, private players Skyroot, Agnikul eye share in small satellite business

ISRO's Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) has been primed for commercialization, with Skyroot's Vikram and Agnikul Cosmos's Agnibaan poised to enter the market. The Indian satellite launch sector is forecasted to grow exponentially, reaching USD 3.5 billion by 2033. Space start-ups such as Pixxel and Satsure are preparing to deploy small satellites using these new launch vehicles. IN-SPACe is facilitating technology transfer from ISRO to various industry groups, enabling mass production and enhancing capabilities in building smaller rockets.
