Met forecasts very heavy rain in Gangetic West Bengal till August 20

The Indian Meteorological Department predicted heavy rainfall in Gangetic West Bengal due to a low-pressure area, expected to intensify. The system was likely to move west-northwestward, affecting areas including Jharkhand and Bihar. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal was also expected to receive heavy rain till August 21.
