Global Capability Centres: Transforming India's job market

Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India have evolved from back-office support roles to key players in the tech sector, now functioning as major tech hubs integrated with their parent companies. Currently, there are about 1,600 GCCs in India, with the number expected to rise to 1,900 by next year. The sector's market size has grown to $60 billion, up from $19.6 billion in 2014-15, reflecting an 11.4% annual growth rate.
